Google Campus. Social Media Video. Qiez

This was the first video that I made for the local online magazine Qiez. Google planned to set his Google Campus in the typically alternative and anarchy neighbourhood of Kreuzberg, Berlin. Neighbours protest against the project, claiming that the campus would increase significantly the price of the rent in the area. I researched the conflict and interview Google’s Spokesman of Germany, Ralf Bremer in the Google Headsquare in Berlin. As a result of the protest and the conflict, Google cancelled the build of the Campus in Berlin.

I organised the entire project, from the start until the end. I collected all the info, most of it in German, and I contacted personally Ralf Bremer for the interview. I wrote and prepared the interview, but finally was my workmate who interviewed him while I was in charge of the camera, sound and light. Afterwards, I wrote a teleprompter text in German and filmed my colleague reading it. I created then a narrative flow, selected the scenes, post-produced the video and corrected it.
